Rebecca Fredette began her career as a special education teacher in 1993 in the Winnisquam School District. She went on to teach in multiple New Hampshire school districts as a special education teacher and coordinator. Fredette also worked for several years with students in one of our private providers of special education before becoming the Assistant Principal at Valley View School in Farmington in 2013. In 2014, Fredette moved into the Principal position until 2018 when she joined the NH Department of Education.
As an administrator Fredette focused on Multi-Tiered Systems of Support school wide academically and behaviorally, as well as project-based learning and promoting school and youth leadership.
Fredette received her bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education from Keene State College and her master’s degree in educational leadership from Plymouth State University.
