As a procurement counselor for the New Hampshire Department of Business and Economic Affairs, Danielle Bishop knows the value and importance of collaboration. In this role, she has managed projects with state and federal government agencies, as well as local businesses and manufacturers.
Danielle has been involved with the NH DHHS Plan to close the Cliff Effect Working Group since 2019, which has deepened her passion for helping others. She is the BEA representative to the Council for Thriving Children.
Danielle earned her Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University after receiving her bachelor’s degree in political science from the College of New Rochelle.
While working as a purchasing agent for the State, Danielle was responsible not only for certain statewide contracts, but also assisted with coordinating the P-card program. This involved training the agencies, their administrators as well as some cardholders, developing training materials, and providing customer service to end users, as needed. Danielle’s warm, energetic personality combined with her genuine interest in the subject at hand allows her the ability to truly put herself in others shoes, and therefore to understand the issue(s) more deeply and personally.
